Analitica is a laboratory specialising in mineralogical, chemical and environmental analyses for the fields of georesources, industrial materials, geology and cultural heritage. Our laboratory designs, develops and applies innovative analysis technologies and methodologies for the identification of asbestos and crystalline silica, for quality control in the production of raw materials and materials for the ceramic, cement, building materials and metal industries.
Our laboratory works for companies, industries and research institutions nationally and abroad, offering accurate mineralogical analyses of rocks, minerals and industrial materials through an innovative multidisciplinary approach, integrating detailed mineralogical, chemical and morphological techniques.
ANALYTICAL SERVICES
Analitica performs mineralogical, environmental and petrographic analyses through X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Polarised Light Optical Microscopy (PLOM), chemical analyses through X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), granulometric analyses through sieving, laser diffraction and image analysis, and thermal behaviour studies through thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the identification and quantification of mineralogical species and of the amorphous component.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Analitica produces and organises research, consultancy and technology transfer services to laboratories and materials and mineral resources industries, as well as research and scientific divulgation activities in the mineralogical and environmental fields. Analitica offers solutions for companies and individuals in order to address specific problems and optimise the treatment and production processes of minerals and materials.
ON-SITE ACTIVITIES
Analitica carries out on-site activities such as environmental monitoring of airborne dust, with a focus on asbestos, crystalline silica, total dust, and fibers, as well as sampling of materials for restoration or remediation interventions. Analitica’s staff includes roles such as the asbestos risk manager, responsible for the management of asbestos-containing materials, and technicians qualified to assess the condition of roofing materials.

With a view to continuously improving customer services and optimizing internal management, Analitica— in addition to renewing its existing ISO 9001 quality certification—has obtained ISO 14001 environmental certification and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certification.
Asbestos control authorization

Analitica is accredited by the Ministry of Health among the laboratories performing asbestos analyses for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDS), Phase Contrast Optical Microscopy (PCOM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD).
REYNOLDS CUP 12

Analitica participated in the Reynolds Cup 2024, the competition organized by the Clay Minerals Society, improving the bias (the sum of the relative errors) compared to previous editions and conquering the 13th position.
