CHEMICAL RISK
LABORATORY
Analitica laboratory conducts analyses of airborne emissions and workplace dust, including total dust, asbestos fibers, man-made vitreous fibers and respirable crystalline silica, through environmental and/or personal monitoring performed by laboratory analysis. Sampling of bulk materials from roofs, gaskets, insulation materials and construction materials is carried out to determine the presence or absence of asbestos in workplaces. Analitica supports companies in all operational phases of chemical risk assessment.
We conduct environmental sampling in production sections of ceramic and cement industries, foundries, tunnel excavations and the production and processing of stone materials (granites, marbles, synthetic quartz).
Analitica monitors airborne asbestos to verify fiber release from cement-asbestos products or during removal of asbestos-containing materials, ensuring the safety of living and working environments. We also assess the conservation state of cement-asbestos roofs (Eternit) through on-site sampling and laboratory analysis of the materials and gutter debris.
Analitica is qualified for asbestos analysis by SEM, XRD, phase-contrast optical microscopy (PCOM) and polarized light optical microscopy (PLOM) techniques.
Sampling of total dust, asbestos fibers, man-made vitreous fibers and respirable crystalline silica in the air and workplace environment through environmental and/or personal sampling.
Assessment of chemical risk from dust, asbestos and silica in workplaces and during remediation operations.
Monitoring of atmospheric and workplace emissions using high- and low-flow pumps and evaluation of airborne asbestos fiber concentrations through PCOM (phase-contrast optical microscopy) and SEM analyses.
Evaluation of the conservation state of cement-asbestos roofings using the VERSAR and AMLETO algorithms.
