Optical Microscopy Analyses
Analitica laboratory performs mineralogical, environmental (asbestos, crystalline respirable silica, MMVF, waste) and petrographical analyses by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and optical microscopy in polarized light, chemical analyses by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), studies of thermal behaviour by thermogravimetric and thermodifferential analyses, assuring high reliability in recognization and quantification of minerals and cristalline compounds.

Analitica is able to assure a network of laboratory of analysis innovative and highly qualified and professional compentence to solve various and different problems in the field of mineral resources, industrial materials, geological and pedological, and cultural heritage.
Asbestos fibers in electronic microscopy
Elenco analisi

Mineralogical composition by X-Ray Diffraction analyses (XRD) of mineral resources and industrial materials (ceramics, cement, metals, etc.).

Control analyses of the presence of asbestos by XRD (Italian Normative DM 6.9.94), in raw materials, soil, asbestos containing materials (ethernit, linoleum, etc.).

Air monitoring of asbestos fibers by Optical Microscopy (MOCF) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) (DM 6.9.94 All. 2B).

Measure of diameter of MMVF and % of alcaline oxides by SEM-EDS.

Measuring of Respirable Crystalline Silica by X-ray Diffraciton (XRD) (ISO 16258-1/2015).

Air Monitoring of Asbestos, Crystalline Silica, MMVF.

Minerals identification and quantification by X-ray powder diffraction and Rietveld Analysis occuring in rocks, soils, sands, sediments and industrial materials.

Mineralogical quantitative analyses of clays and clay minerals in sedimentary rocks, soils, and ceramic raw materials.

Optical Light Polarized Microscopy of rocks (limestones, granites, gneiss) and inerts.

Qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF).

Analyses of crystallinity grade of pharamceuticals compunds and polymorph analyses by X- Ray Diffraciton.
